Our end of summer season shoot will be held on Sunday 23rd September 2018 at Tockington Manor School with sighters at 11:00am. Please arrive early to help set up the field.
We will be shooting a National Round followed which will be followed by a barbecue and awards presentation. Normal shooting fees apply but there is no extra cost for the barbecue. This is our final club tournament for the year and is always a fun event so don’t miss out!
We will set the field up so that you may shoot one of the following rounds (recommended round in brackets):
- a Long National – 4 dozen arrows at 80 yards followed by 2 dozen arrows at 60 yards (2nd class and above)
- a National – 4 dozen arrows at 60 yards followed by 2 dozen arrows at 50 yards (unclassified and 3rd class)
- a Junior National – 4 dozen arrows at 40 yards followed by 2 dozen arrows at 30 yards (new archers + boys U14, girls U16)
- a Short Junior National – 4 dozen arrows at 30 yards followed by 2 dozen arrows at 20 yards (new archers + boys U12, girls U14)
We will run a ladies and gents handicap event for both beginners and non-beginners plus juniors.
The barbecue will be after the shoot unless it rains… then we will have the barbecue first and hope it stops raining by the time we are finished!
